Coming soon! Microsoft 365 Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)

Over the next few weeks, in accordance with VCCS security policies, ITSS will deploy a new feature - Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) - to enhance security for your NVCC Microsoft 365 account.  MFA adds an extra verification step to make sure that you are who you say you are!

Effective Monday, October 26, 2020, you will require Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) to access all Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Outlook, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint Online).

Register for MFA by going to https://aka.ms/mfasetup and following the steps detailed in the MFA Quick Reference Guide: https://sharepoint.nvcc.edu/IIT/ITSS/S/Documents/NVCC_MFA_QRG.pdf

You will complete the registration process using your existing NVCC credentials (username and password) that you use to login today.

When you register, you will add a safe and secure two-step verification method from a set of authentication options (e.g., phone call, or mobile app notification) to access your Microsoft 365 applications.
