During the winter break, the IT Help Desk will be staffed with a skeleton crew from 8 AM to 5 PM. This coverage will start Friday, 12/21, and continue through Monday, 12/31, during the weekdays that do not fall on a holiday.
The weekends, Christmas day, and New Years day will be handled by the after-hours team, as usual.
Support will be limited and hold times may be longer than normal. To help streamline the process and alleviate long hold times, we have implemented a voicemail feature into the call system. Anyone waiting in the telephone queue will be given the option to leave a voicemail for the IT Help Desk and an analyst will call you back as soon as they can. This option will be available 8 AM to 5 PM. This is not an option with the after-hours team. Users may also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
to generate a help ticket.
