In many instances, users contact the IT Helpdesk looking for information concerning registration, tuition charges, parking, financial aid and other services. The IT Helpdesk is not able to answer these questions.
Many of these types of questions require specialists in the area, and while the IT Helpdesk are technology speciailsts they are not specialists in these other areas.
